In the wake of Young Dolph’s passing, fans are flooding social media with tributes that remember the late rapper for his personality and his music among other things.
Twitter user @big_business_ specifically brought up his wittiness. “One thing about Young Dolph he had elite sense of humor in his raps and Instagram. I’m gonna miss that the most man,” he wrote.
In another tribute, user @btsquared2 chose to highlight one of the rapper’s charitable donations. In her tweet, she linked to a past article about the time the “Cut It” emcee gave $20,000 to two baristas who were fired for playing his song at a coffee shop on Duke’s campus.

“This is my fave Dolph moment,” she captioned the post. @NavJosh remembered when the Memphis emcee gave his “$400k lambo to a super fan whose nail business suffered because of the pandemic.”
Dolph was fatally shot on Wednesday (Nov. 17) as he made a purchase at the Makeda’s Cookie Shop in Memphis, Tennessee, a store he often visited and promoted on Instagram just last week. Some supporters likened his death to Nipsey Hussle, who was also killed in his hometown.
“What happened to Young Dolph is heartbreaking fr because this exactly how it be in the hood when niggas start acquiring any success for themselves people start hating and doing shiest shit to set you up,” added @LondynnMilan. “Our own people can be our biggest enemies when they see us shine.”

Many Dolph fans sent condolences to his girlfriend and children while mentioning he was a proud family man. Others questioned how Key Glock, who has deleted his social media accounts, has reacted to the news.
In another post honoring the independent rapper, Twitter user @jacksone_ simply asked fans to stream all of Dolph’s music, noting “he owned all of his masters.”
