Police arrested one of the two suspects in connection to the kidnapping of a mother and her 1-year old son outside a Target in Memphis, Tenn.
Will Hayes, 25, was charged Tuesday with two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of especially aggravated kidnapping, and employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
Hayes and another male suspect, who has yet to be identified and remains on the run, forced the mother and child into their gold Chevrolet Malibu on Aug. 31.

The pair ordered the woman to drive to a nearby Regions Bank to make an $800 withdrawal from the ATM on the 7700 block of Highway 64
The mother was forced to sit in the front seat next to one suspect that sat in the passenger seat, while the other suspect sat in the backseat with the child, according to WREG-TV. She returned to the store after Hayes and the other suspect vanished with the cash.
When the mother was dropped back off at the store, she immediately called for help.

Just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Memphis police spotted a gold vehicle matching the description of the car that appeared on surveillance footage.
Officers pulled the car without a license plate for a traffic stop and Hayes was taken into custody.

According to Action News 5, Hayes has previously been arrested for theft, vandalism and credit card fraud.
