  • Dungey inherits her role during a rocky time for the company – the creation of Warner Bros. Discovery led to leadership shakeups, layoffs, and budget cuts.
  • The television group can still celebrate its creative output, namely the commercial and critical success of “Ted Lasso” and “Abbott Elementary,” and blockbuster ad revenue from “The Bachelor” franchise.
  • A highly-respected Hollywood player, Dungey previously acted as VP of Original Series at Netflix and was President of ABC Entertainment, where she became the first Black executive to lead a television network.
