Cops are searching for a perv who tried to sexually assault a woman on a Queens street — and then ran off when his would-be victim fought back.
The 20-year-old woman was walking near the corner of 27th Street and 30th Avenue in Astoria at about 2 p.m. Saturday when the unidentified man walked up to her, tried to put his hand up her shorts and pushed her against a fence, according to police.
The woman fought him off, and the creep fled south on 27th Street, cops said. The victim was not hurt during the assault.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the department’s tip line at 800-577-TIPS.
