Bath & Body Works recently apologized and pulled their “Snowed In” candle from shelves after receiving backlash on social media for its label design, which some users compared to Ku Klux Klan hoods. The candle was intended to display a snowflake pattern, but many saw the imagery as closely resembling the notorious white hoods worn by Klan members. The company swiftly responded, issuing an apology and stating that they were committed to rectifying the issue and reassessing their design processes to prevent similar incidents.

After social media users pointed out that Bath & Body Works’ “Snowed In” candle design unintentionally resembled Ku Klux Klan members, the company quickly issued an apology.
