Sasha Keable Announces ‘Act II’ EP, Shares ‘Tell Me What You Want’

Sasha Keable has announced ACT II, the deluxe version of her Act Right EP, will release Feb. 6 via The Flight Club Records.

“ACT II out next week, since you’ve all been bullying me for new music,” she posted on Instagram Friday (Jan. 30) with the cover art.

The expanded set will contain all seven songs from Act Right, plus five new tracks, including “Tai Chi” and the newly shared “Tell Me What You Want.” It was produced by Eddie Lopes, Charlie Pitts and Kent Azares.

On the sultry track, Keable encourages her partner not to hold back on her bedroom desires. It doesn’t pretend to be ambiguous about its message. With lines like, “Stay down there till you’re drowning,” she’s certainly not talking about swimming.

But beneath its finger-deep surface, “Tell Me What You Want” feels more transcendent than raunchy. It embodies a place of euphoria where two trusting partners can fully surrender to each other without judgment.

Regarding “Tell Me What You Want,” Keable said, “This is maybe my favourite song I’ve written in a while.”

On April 18 and April 19, Keable will headline shows at Blue Note Jazz Club in New York, followed by shows at the new Los Angeles location on April 22 and April 23.
