Destin Conrad Announces Second Leg of ‘wHIMSY’ Jazz Tour

Destin Conrad is heading back on the road. The Grammy-nominated singer has announced the dates for the second leg of his intimate jazz tour.

The eight-city run kicks off July 17 in St. Louis at Music at the Intersection Festival. From there, he will play Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh and more, before wrapping up July 30 in Columbus at Rumba Cafe.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday (May 1) at 10 a.m. local time.

Conrad’s tour is in support of his alternative jazz project, wHIMSY, released in 2025, just four months after his Grammy-nominated debut, Love On Digital. “wHIMSY is an off the cuff, free idea, that is my passion project,” said Conrad.

He added, “This is something I’ve always wanted to do—from my years in the Jazz Choir during high school to now, having the opportunity to release this project and reinventing what Jazz means to me now.”

wHIMSY includes collaborations with James FauntleroyTerrace Martin, Keyon Harrold, Ambré, Vanisha Gould and Astyn Turr.

On April 10, Conrad released wHIMSY!, the deluxe edition featuring six additional tracks. “wHIMSY! picks up where the original left off, just with more movement and more play. It’s me leaning further into how jazz and R&B speak to each other,” Conrad told Rated R&B.
